A children’s book for everyone
“Because here at home or wherever you go,
you’re loved forever, even more than you know.
So take love along and go out and explore,
to see for yourself what’s beyond the front door.”
A project in design school sparked my interest in children’s books. After graduation, I jotted down some words and attempted some illustrations (those initial illustrations are NOT show to the left) but soon got distracted with a job and the start of my career. The book was always in the back of my mind and I’d revisit it from time to time until the Covid-19 pandemic allowed me some time to really dig in.
A simple message
You are loved. There’s a whole world out there to explore.
Stay curious. Spread love.

Universally Human
It was important to me that the illustrations were as inclusive as possible.
I wanted the people to be universally relatable, so I focused more on their body language and what they were emoting.
